Kalidas Jayaram's Poomaram: What Happened To The Project?

Poomaram, the Kalidas Jayaram starrer directed by Abrid Shine, is one of the most anticipated projects of 2017. Poomaram, which is said to be a campus story, was supposed to release in February 2017.

However, there is absolutely no news about the project, which is supposed to mark Kalidas Jayaram's debut in a lead role. Poomaram has totally moved away from the limelight, to the much disappointment of the audiences.

The team had released the title song of Poomaram by the end of 2016, which instantly took the social media by storm. It was also reported that the first teaser of the movie will be released by the beginning of 2017.

But, the Poomaram team hasn't even revealed a new poster of the project after the release of the titular song. However, the rumour mills have now started speculating that Poomaram is facing some post-production issues.

The movie, which marks Kalidas Jayaram's lead role debut in Malayalam, is said to be an out-and-out campus story. Along with Kalidas, a bunch of newcomers selected from the various campuses of Kerala, essay the key roles.

Poomaram is also said to be featuring popular actors Kunchacko Boban and Meera Jasmine, in extended cameo appearances. Well, we hope that the team will reveal the current status of the movie, very soon.
