Kunchacko Boban's Ramante Edanthottam Gets A Release Date

Ramante Edanthottam, the upcoming romantic comedy marks the first association of Kunchacko Boban with the talented film-maker, Ranjith Sankar. Director Ranjith officially announced the release date of Ramante Edanthottam through his Facebook page recently.

If things fall in place, the much-awaited movie will hit the theatres on May 12th, Friday. The team recently wrapped up the filming of Ramante Edanthottam and is planning to kickstart the pre-production of the movie, soon.

According to Ranjith Sankar, the team is planning to have an overseas release for the Kunchacko Boban starrer. Ramante Edanthottam will be widely distributed in Kerala and the other major Indian cities, by Central Pictures.

Kunchacko Boban is playing the role of Ram Menon aka Raman, a resort owner in the movie. Unlike the usual posh resorts, Raman's resort 'Edanthottam' has very limited facilities and is situated in an area without mobile or internet connection.

Anu Sithara is essaying the female lead in the movie. The actress is playing the role of Malini, a city-based young woman who visits Raman's Edanthottam and eventually fall in love with him, despite their contrast lifestyles.

Madhu Neelakandan handles the cinematography. Bijibal composes the music. Ramante Edanthottam, which is produced by Ranjith Sankar himself stars Aju Varghese, Ramesh Pisharady, Joju George, Muthumani, etc. in the other pivotal roles.
