AMAZING! Malavika Mohanan Roped In For Majid Majidi's Next!

Actress Malavika Mohanan, who debuted in films as a leading lady with the Dulquer Salmaan starrer Pattam Pole has landed in a real big movie.

Reportedly, the actress has been roped in to play the role of the leading lady in the internationally acclaimed film-maker Majid Majidis' next, which has been titled as Beyond The Clouds. The actress has also started filming for the movie.

Interestingly, there were reports doing the rounds that popular actress Deepika Padukone was auditioned for this particular role, but later, the actress was dropped due to reasons unknown.

Beyond The Clouds, which has its story set in India, will also mark the debut of Ishan Khattar, the brother of popular Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor. Reportedly, the upcoming film will delve in to brother-sister relationship.

Meanwhile, Malavika Mohanan, who is the daughter of renowned cinematographer, K U Mohanan is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film, The Great Father, which would hit the theatres on March 30, 2017.

Reportedly, Malavika Mohanan would play the role of a police officer in this Mammootty starrer. She also has Fahadh Faasil starrer Nale, which has been delayed due to various reasons.
