WOW! Mammootty-Lijo Jose Pellissery Movie Is Not Shelved

Mammootty, the megastar was supposed to join hands with talented film-maker Lijo Jose Pellissery, for a commercial entertainer. But the project was delayed indefinitely due to undisclosed reasons and was later rumoured to be shelved.

In a recent interview, Lijo Jose Pellissery slammed the rumours and stated that he will join hands with Mammootty, soon. According to the director, the Mammootty project couldn't take off at the expected time, due to technical reasons.

But, the project is very much in the pipeline and has not been shelved. Lijo Jose stated that the project is still in its initial stages, and it is too early to reveal anything about the plot or lead actor Mammootty's character in the movie.

Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas, the producer duo who were expected to produce the movie under the banner Friday Film House, had recently ended their partnership. It is yet to be revealed that who will be producing the project now.

Lijo Jose Pellissery is all set to release his latest directorial venture Angamaly Diaries on March 3rd, Friday. The movie, which is scripted by actor Chemban Vinod Jose stars fresh faces in the lead and supporting roles.

Mammootty, on the other hand, recently wrapped up the filming of the upcoming Ranjith movie Puthan Panam, which is slated to hit the theatres in April 2017. The megastar is currently shooting for the upcoming Shyamdhar movie.
