The
shoot
of
Mammootty's
upcoming
film
Streetlights,
which
also
marks
the
debut
of
cinematographer
Shamdat
as
a
director,
went
on
floors
on
March
24,
2017
in
Kochi.
Vishnu
Unnikrishnan,
who
shot
to
fame
with
the
film
Kattappanayile
Rithwik
Roshan
was
roped
in
to
play
one
of
the
important
roles
in
the
film
but
now,
he
has
been
replaced
by
Dharmajan.
Unfortunately,
Vishnu
Unnikrishnan
suffered
an
injury
while
filming
for
one
of
the
action
sequences
of
the
movie,
which
has
forced
him
to
pull
out
of
the
movie.
Reportedly,
the
actor
has
suffered
from
a
wrist
injury
and
he
would
have
to
take
rest
for
at
least
two
weeks,
which
has
eventually
paved
way
for
Dharmajan's
entry
to
the
movie.
Interestingly,
both
these
actors
did
get
a
boost
to
their
career
with
Kattappanayile
Rithwik
Roshan.
Streetlights,
which
features
Mammootty
in
the
lead
role
is
said
to
be
in
the
lines
of
a
thriller.
The
film
also
marks
the
comeback
of
Mammootty
to
production.
Streetlights
is
being
produced
by
Mammootty
under
the
banner
Playhouse.
Apart
from
Mammootty
and
Dharmajan,
Streetlights
will
also
feature
Lijomol
in
an
important
role
in
the
film.
