Recently, Manju Warrier had openly stated that she suspect a criminal conspiracy behind the shocking incident, and offered her complete support to the actress who was attacked. Manju's statement had created a stir among the audiences.

Dileep, the ex-husband of Manju Warrier was suspected to be the mastermind behind incident by social media. But, the actor bitterly denied the rumours and cleared his stand through an interview and a recent Facebook post.

It was also rumoured that actor-director Sidharth Bharathan is involved in the conspiracy against the actor after one of the attackers was arrested from his apartment. However, Sidharth also brushed off the rumours, stating that he is innocent.
