Mohanlal's 1971 Beyond Borders: First Look Poster Goes Viral!

Mohanlal and Major Ravi, the popular actor-director duo is back with the fourth instalment of Major Mahadevan series, 1971 Beyond Borders. The team recently released the first look poster of the movie, through Facebook.

The promising first look poster has impressed the audiences and has been going viral on social media. Expectations are riding high on the Mohanlal starrer, post the release of poster which features the central character, Major Mahadevan.

If the reports are to be true, Mohanlal is playing a double role, as Major Mahadevan and his father Major Sahadevan in the war drama. The highly anticipated movie is scripted by director Major Ravi himself.

According to the sources close to the project, 1971 Beyond Borders, which is set in two time periods, depicts the story of the India-Pakistan war of 1971. The movie will be simultaneously released in Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi.

Asha Sharath essays the female lead opposite Mohanlal in the movie. Telugu actor Allu Sirish and Bollywood actor Arunodhay Singh make their Malayalam movie debuts, by playing crucial roles in the movie.

Renji Panicker, Sudheer Karamana, Saiju Kurup, Krishna Kumar, Manikuttan, Padmaraj Ratheesh, Priyanka Agarwal, Zoya Zayed Khan, etc. appear in the supporting roles. The movie is produced by Red Rose Creations.
