Mohanlal starring war drama film 1971 Beyond Borders is one of the most anticipated upcoming projects of Mollywood. The team finally wrapped up the final schedule of the Major Ravi movie, in Georgia.

1971 Beyond Borders which is the fourth instalment of the Major Mahadevan movie series, and a prequel to the first part, Keerthichakra. The movie will feature lead actor Mohanlal in a double role, as Colonel Mahadevan and his father, Major Sahadevan.

If the reports are to be believed, Mohanlal's character Colonel Mahadevan has been portrayed as a member of the UN Peacekeeping Force in the movie. The team shot the major sequences involving the Peacekeeping Force, in Georgia.

As per the sources, the movie depicts a mission of Major Mahadevan and UN Peacekeeping Force, in the backdrop of the India-Pakistan war of 1971. Mohanlal is appearing in two different get-ups in the movie.

The movie was widely shot at the various locations of Rajasthan, Kashmir, Punjab, Ottappalam, Perumbavoor, and Georgia. The war sequences in the climax portion were filmed at the special set created in Perumbavoor.

Asha Sharath, Arunodhay Singh, Allu Sirish, Renji Panicker, Saiju Kurup, Sudheer Karamana, etc. in the supporting roles. 1971 Beyond Borders, which is produced by Red Rose Creations, will hit the theatres in April.
