CONFIRMED: Mohanlal Is NOT A Part Of Ezra

Ezra, the Prithviraj starring horror thriller is all set to hit theatres on February 10. It was rumoured that Mohanlal, the complete actor of Mollywood is making a special cameo appearance in the movie.

The gossipmongers had suggested that Mohanlal is playing the titular character Abraham Ezra, and the man with slanting shoulder who appears in the official teaser of Ezra is none other than the actor.

But in a recent interview given to a popular daily, director Jay K rubbished the rumours and confirmed that Mohanlal is not a part of the project. Jay stated his deep desire to work with the magical actor, in the interview.

The director also revealed that the man who is shown in the teaser is none other than the lead actor, Prithviraj. However, Jay K's revelation came out as a huge disappointment for the Mohanlal fans.

Ezra, which is said to be an out-and-out horror thriller revolves around Ranjan Mathew and Priya, a married couple who comes to stay in an old Jewish bungalow, and the incidents faced by them.

Popular actress Priya Anand essays the female lead in the movie, which stars young actor Tovino Thomas in a pivotal role. Ezra is produced by Mukesh K Mehta, for the banner E4 Entertainment.
