Naran (2005)

Naduvazhikal (1989)
A revenge story told in the most intriguing manner - this is the way we can describe Naduvazhikal. This wasn't a film with loads of action elements, but it definitely had that captivating factor, which has made the movie one of the best action dramas of 1980's. Mohanlal as Arjun was in top form and Joshiy's craftsmanship made it a movie that transcends time.
No. 20 Madras Mail (1990)
The film is best known for the association of Mammootty and Mohanlal. Mammootty appeared as himself in this film whereas Mohanlal portrayed the role of Tony Kurishingal. The film, is considered to be one of the best multi-starrers of all time. The train sequences in the film looked perfectly real and Joshiy was able to bring in that thrill factor to the film.
Run Baby Run (2012)
Run Bay Run was quite different from Mohanlal-Joshiy movies of the past. The film had Mohanlal playing the role of a reporter. Run Bay Run also had a beautiful love tale to narrate, which made the movie an even more entertaining one. Mohanlal was refreshing as Venu and Joshiy made use of the actor and star in him perfectly.
January Oru Orma (1987)
January Oru Orma, released in the year 1986, is one of the first movies of the combo. The film, which was more of a family movie, had Mohanlal in the role of a tourist guide. The film narrated a rather intense tale and definitely is one of the best films of the combo.
