Mohanlal is definitely the man of the moment. The actor has won the Special Jury award at the 64th National Film Awards. He was honoured for his performances in the films Pulimurugan, Janatha Garage And Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol.

The actor was at the sets of his upcoming movie Villain, while the results were announced. The entire team of Villain celebrated the big win by cutting a cake. While talking to the media, Mohanlal opened up about his win at the 64th National Film Awards.

Mohanlal expressed his happiness on winning the award for a non-Malayalam film, as well and stated that he is accepting the award with all love and happiness.

Interestingly, both the films Janatha Garage and Pulimurugan were not initially send by the regional jury to Delhi but later, it was the National jury that invited the these movies. When quizzed about this Mohanlal stated he considers it as a big recognition for these movies.

Talking about the award that he received for Pulimurugan, he pointed out that he considers the award as a big recognition for the entire team of the movie.
