cinematic
adaptation
of

T
Vasudevan
Nair's
award
winning
novel
Randamoozham
has
been
doing
the
rounds
for
a
long
time
and
here
is
an
interesting
update
regarding
the
same.
Mohanlal,
who
is
touted
to
do
the
lead
role
in
the
film
has
confirmed
that
the
project
is
still
on
cards
and
in
all
likeliness
would
go
on
floors
by
next
year.
The
actor
opened
up
about
this
in
the
recent
talk
show
conducted
by
Manorama
News
in
connection
with
the
Manorama
Newsmaker
Of
The
Year.
Mohanlal
stated
that
the
film
would
be
made
under
a
big
budget
of
600
Crores.
He
also
stated
that
the
scripting
process
of
the
film
has
been
completed
by
M
T
Vasudevan
Nair.
Reportedly,
the
film,
which
will
be
made
as
a
multi-lingual
is
expected
to
features
some
of
the
big
names
of
the
industry
like
Amitabh
Bachchan,
Nagarjuna,
Prabhu
Ganesan,
Manju
Warrier,
Aishwarya
Rai.
There
are
also
reports
doing
the
rounds
that
prominent
ad
film-maker
V
A
Sreekumar
Menon
would
be
directing
the
film
eventhough
no
confirmation
has
bee
received
regarding
the
same.
A

Rahman
is
being
considered
for
the
music
department
whereas
Peter
Hein
is
expected
to
do
the
action
choreography.
If
reports
are
to
be
beleieved,
the
film
would
be
made
in
two
different
parts.
Earlier,
prominent
director
Hariharan
had
planned
to
make
Randamoozham
but
later
he
had
to
drop
the
project.
