JUST OUT: Mohanlal's Villain Official Teaser

The first official teaser of Villain, the upcoming Mohanlal movie directed by B Unnikrishnan, is finally out. Lead actor Mohanlal released the official teaser through his official Facebook page, recently.

The 1.11 minutes long teaser is going viral on social media, and has crossed 3.5 Lakhs views just within the first 50 minutes of its release. Mohanlal's exceptional screen presence is the major highlight of the highly promising teaser.

From the teaser, it is evident that Villain is a stylish thriller which revolves around a murder mystery. The teaser hints that the movie also deals with the personal life of the central character, ex-cop Mathew Manjooran, played by Mohanlal.

Manju Warrier, who essays the female lead opposite Mohanlal, Srikanth and Rashi Khanna, the Telugu actors, make blink-and-miss appearances. Siddique and Renji Panicker, the actors who essay the supporting roles, are also featured in the teaser.

Vishal, the Tamil actor who essays a pivotal role in the movie, is not present in the teaser. As per the latest report, the actor will only join the second schedule of the movie, which is expected to start rolling in June 2017, in Chennai.

Villain, which is scripted by director B Unnikrishnan himself, will also mark the Mollywood debut of Hansika Motwani. Oppam fame 4 Musics band composes the songs and background score. Villain is produced by Rockline Productions.
