Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol Box Office First Day Collections: Beats Jomonte Suvisheshangal

Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, the Mohanlal movie has made a grand opening at the box office. The movie, which is directed by Jibu Jacob, has beaten the initial day collection record of Jomonte Suvisheshangal.

As per the latest reports from the trade experts, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol has made an initial collection of 3.09 Crores from the Kerala box office. Jomonte Suvisheshangal had made an initial collection of 2.71 Crores.

Reportedly, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol has made a net collection of the 2.58 Crores, and share of 1.46 Crores. However, the movie failed to break the initial collection record set by the Mohanlal-Vysakh movie Pulimurugan.

Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, which is a complete family entertainer, stars Meena in the female lead. The movie has been receiving excellent reviews from both the audiences and critics and has already been declared as a blockbuster.

If things proceed at the same rate, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol will succeed in entering the prestigious 50-Crore club, thus becoming the third Mohanlal movie to cross the mark at the Malayalam movie box office.

The movie, which is based on VJ James's short story Pranayopanishad, is scripted by M Sindhuraj. Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol is produced by Sophia Paul, under the banner Weekend Blockbusters.
