Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, the recently released Mohanlal movie is receiving extremely positive reviews from both the audiences and critics. If the reports are to be true, the movie is now all set to be remade in Telugu.
As per the latest updates, popular Telugu actor Venkatesh is extremely impressed with the impact created by Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol among the audiences. The actor is keen to bag the remake rights of the movie, for his home banner.
Source suggest that Ventakesh himself will essay the lead role, played by Mohanlal in the original. However, director Jibu Jacob and producer Sophia Paul have not responded to the reports yet.
Earlier, Venkatesh had reprised Mohanlal's role in the Telugu remake of Drishyam, which also emerged as a great critical and commercial success. The actor was highly appreciated for his performance in the movie.
Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, which is based on the popular short film Pranayopanishad, deals with the lives of Ulahannan and Anniyamma, a middle-aged married couple. The movie is scripted by M Sindhuraj.
Mohanlal and Meena have essayed Ulahannan and Anniyamma in the movie, which stars Aima Sebastian, Sanoop Santhosh, Anoop Menon, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Alencier Ley, Srinda, etc. in the supporting roles.
