to
essay
the
lead
role
in

Geetu
Mohandas's
maiden
Malayalam
feature
film
venture,
Moothon.
The
actor
shared
his
excited
about
the
project
in
a
recent
interview.
Interestingly,
Nivin
stated
that
Moothon
is
his
dream
project.
According
to
the
actor,
his
role
in
the
movie
is
very
challenging
and
demands
a
lot
of
preparations.
Nivin
will
be
using
Jeseri
(Lakshadweep)
dialect
in
the
movie.
He
will
also
have
a
few
dialogues
in
Hindi,
as
the
movie
is
partially
set
in
Mumbai.
Nivin
Pauly
is
planning
to
take
a
special
language
training
for
his
character.
The
actor
will
be
appearing
in
an
entirely
different
get-up
in
the
movie.
Moothon,
which
depicts
the
story
of
a
14-year-old
boy
who
comes
to
Mumbai
in
search
of
his
elder
brother,
is
scripted
by
director
Geetu
himself.
The
movie
will
be
shot
at
the
various
locations
of
Lakshadweep
and
Mumbai.
The
screenplay
of
Moothon
was
shortlisted
by
the
Screen
Writers
Lab
of
Sudan's
Film
Festival
2015,
as
one
of
the
best
screenplays.
Geetu
Mohandas
has
won
the
Global
Film-making
Award
for
the
Best
Screenplay,
for
Moothon.
Anurag
Kashyap,
the
Bollywood
director
has
co-written
the
dialogues
of
the
movie.
Geetu's
husband,
the
National-award
winning
cinematographer
Rajeev
Ravi
handles
the
cinematography.
Moothon
will
start
rolling
in
April
2017.
