Nivin Pauly Moothon: What Is The Current Status?

Nivin Pauly, the charming actor is joining hands with talented actress-director Geetu Mohandas, for the first time in his career. Nivin-Geetu duo's first association, which has been titled as Moothon, was announced last year.

Later, it was reported that Geetu Mohandas and her team have begun the shooting for the movie. Nivin Pauly made headlines with his tonsured look for the movie, which is said to be based on the concept of magical realism.

However, there is absolutely no information about Moothon from the past few months. It was reported that Nivin Pauly has completed the first schedule shoot of the movie. The actor was supposed to join the second schedule after Onam 2017.

However, Nivin Pauly hasn't joined the sets of the movie yet, as he is busy with the shooting of his highly anticipated upcoming project Kayamkulam Kochunni. The actual reason behind the delay in the shoot of Moothon is yet to be revealed.

Moothon, which depicts the story of a 14-year-old boy who comes to Mumbai in search of his elder brother, is scripted by director Geetu herself. The movie will be shot at the various locations of Lakshadweep and Mumbai.

Popular Bollywood film-maker Anurag Kashyap has co-written the dialogues of the movie. The National-award winning cinematographer-director Rajeev Ravi handles the direction of photography.
