Sakhavu,

starrer

most-awaited
Malayalam
projects

2017.
The
movie,
which
is
directed
by
National
award-winner
Sidhartha
Siva,
has
now
got
a
new
release
date.
Earlier,
it
was
reported
that
Sakhavu
will
hit
the
theatres
on
April
14th,
Vishu
day.
But,
lead
actor
Nivin
Pauly
recently
confirmed
that
the
release
of
the
movie
has
been
pushed
by
a
day,
to
April
15th,
Saturday.
Nivin
Pauly
announced
the
news
through
his
official
Facebook
page
recently.
Reportedly,
the
team
pushed
the
release
to
April
15th,
as
Keralites
are
celebrating
both
Vishu
and
Good
Friday
on
April
14th.

the
reports,
the
makers
feel
that
it
is
a
bad
idea
to
release
Sakhavu
on
April
14th,
as
the
theatre
rush
would
be
comparatively
low
on
that
day.
Reportedly,
Sakhavu
is
having
a
solo
release
on
April
15th.
The
movie,
which
is
scripted
by
Sidhartha
himself,
stars
Nivin
Pauly
as
the
central
character
Krishna
Kumar,
a
student
leader.
Sakhavu
depicts
how
Krishna
Kumar's
life
changes
after
a
medical
college
visit.
Jomonte
Suvisheshangal
fame
Aishwarya
Rajesh
essays
the
female
lead
in
the
movie,
which
features
actor-writer
Sreenivasan
and
Aparna
Gopinath
in
pivotal
roles.
