Oru Mexican Aparatha, the big release of the past week has had a thunderous opening at the box office. Reportedly, the film starring Tovino Thomas in the lead role went on to gross 3.12 Crore on its opening day and thus making it the second highest Day 1 grosser of Mollywood.
Angamaly Diaries Wins Rave Reviews
Lijo Jose Pellissery's Angamaly Diaries, which features as many as 86 fresh faces in it, has opened to some extremely good reviews. The film is being lauded by both critics and the audiences and is in the way to become a big hit.

The Great Father To Have A Big Release
Mammootty's next big release, The Great father, which is scheduled to hit the theatres on March 30, 2016, will have a big release in Kerala. Reportedly, the makers are planning to release the film in close to 150 theatres across Kerala.
Definitely, it could be said that the year so far has been a good one for the industry. The other films from the prevoius weeks are also doing a steady business. Vineeth Sreenivasan starrer Aby, directed by Srikant Murali has attracted to certain sections of the audiences.
Disappointingly, Jayaraj's magnum opus Veeram, couldn't make a big mark at the box office. With Oru Mexican Aparatha and Angamaly Diaries hitting the theatres, the film did lose out some of the screens.
The upcoming week will witness the release of Ayal Jeevichirippundu, which features Manikandan Pattambi and Vijay Babu in the lead roles. The film directed by Vyasan K P is expected to be a feel good entertainer.
