Adam, the highly anticipated Prithviraj movie which recently started rolling in Kochi, has reportedly got a title change. Reportedly, the makers have registered the movie not under the title Adam, but as Adam John.

The team was not able to register the movie under the title Adam, as director Samar Rasheed has already registered a project under the same title. So, the Jinu Abraham-directed movie has been renamed as Adam John.

It is the directorial debut of Jinu Abraham, who has made a mark as a scenarist. Bhavana appears a pivotal role in the movie, which stars Mishti Chakraborty as the female lead opposite Prithviraj.

Adam John will have Prithviraj in the titular role Adam John Pothan, a rich planter who hails from Kottayam. The movie depicts a love story with a touch of suspence, in the backdrop of CMS College, Kottayam.

Narain appears as Syriac, Adam John's best buddy during his college days. Rahul Madhav, Siddique, Maniyanpilla Raju, Sidhartha Siva, Jaya Menon, Madhusudhan Rao, etc. appear in the supporting roles.

A major portion of the movie, which is written by Jinu himself, will be shot in Scotland. Adam John is produced by Brijeesh Mohammed and Jose Simon for B Cinemas, in association with Renji Panicker Entertainment.
