Prithviraj, the talented actor of Malayalam cinema has already made a mark in most of the other popular industries, including Tamil cinema and Bollywood. Now, Prithviraj has bagged yet another State Award trophy.

Interestingly, the actor has won the Best Actor In A Negative Role award at the Tamil Nadu State Film Awards 2014. Prithviraj won the trophy for his performance as Gomathi Nayagam Pillai, in Vasanthabalan's Kaaviya Thalaivan.

The actor recently revealed the news through a post on his official Facebook page. Prithviraj also thanked director Vasanthabalan, co-star Siddharth, production company Y Not Studios, and the entire team of Kaaviya Thalaivan, through the post.

Prithviraj had backed out from the Bollywood movie Happy New Year, which featured Shahrukh Khan in the lead role, for Kaaviya Thalaivan. His performance as the revenge-driven Gomathi Nayagam Pillai was widely appreciated by the audiences and critics.

The actor won the first Kerala State Award for Best Actor, for the M Padmakumar movie Vaasthavam in 2016. Prithviraj bagged his second Kerala State Award Best Actor trophy, for the performances in the JC Daniel biopic Celluloid and Lal Jose's Ayalum Njanum Thammil.
