AMAZING! Prithviraj's Ezra Overtakes Mohanlal's Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol!

The year so far has been a good one for Malayalam film industry, with movies like Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, Ezra and Jomonte Suviseshangal involved in a neck-and-neck race.

Interestingly, Prithviraj starrer Ezra, which released on February 10, 2017 has now overtaken the collection of Mohanlal's Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, in one of the major centres.

In Kochi multiplexes, Ezra went on to collect 1.89 Crores in 17 days of run and thus beating the collections of Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, which has collected 1.88 Crores so far, from 38 days of its run.

Both the films are doing good business at the Kochi multiplexes even now but it is Ezra, which is now crusing ahead of Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol at a faster rate. Earlier, Ezra went on to become the fastest entrant to the 1-Crore club at the Kochi multiplexes.

Ezra is also sure to cross the 2-Crore mark at the Kochi multiplexes and the film is maintaining good occupancy in the theatres, even now.

We have to wait and see whether Ezra will go on to become the highest grosser of Prithviraj at the Kochi multiplexes or not. Prithviraj movies like Ennu Ninte Moideen and Amar Akbar Anthony had also grossed above 2-Crores at the Kochi multiplexes.
