Puthan Panam Box Office: 6 Days Kerala Collections

Puthan Panam, the Mammootty starring action thriller hit the theatres on April 12th, Wednesday. The movie, which is written and directed by the senior writer-director Ranjith, has been receiving mixed reviews from both the audiences and critics.

When it completed the first 6 days at the Kerala box office, Puthan Panam has made a total gross collection of 5.97 Crores. While considering the low budget of the movie, it has been delivering a moderate performance at the box office.

The Mammootty starrer, which was released on a working day, made a decent opening at the box office, by making an initial collection of 1.87 Crores. According to the trade experts, Puthan Panam has collected 4.57 Crores within the first 4 days of its theatrical run.

The trade analysts suggest that the rushed release and lack of good marketing have badly affected the box office performance of Puthan Panam. The team decided to released the movie in April while The Great Father, another Mammootty starrer is having a successful theatrical run.

It is a fact the Mammootty-Ranjith project failed to impress the audiences, who were expecting the actor-director duo to recreate their magic. The widely spreading negative reviews have also severely affected the box office performance of Puthan Panam.
