REVEALED: Radhika Sarathkumar's Role In Dileep's Ramaleela

Here are some interesting details about senior actress Radhika Sarathkumar's role in the upcoming Dileep starring political thriller, Ramaleela.

Radhika Sarathkumar, the senior South Indian actress is all set to make a Mollywood comeback, with the upcoming Dileep starrer Ramaleela. Recently, some close sources revealed the details about Radhika's character in the movie.

Reportedly, the actress is playing the character Sakhavu Ragini, a powerful politician who is a strong follower of communist ideologies. Dileep will appear as Ragini's son Raman, a young politician.

According to the sources, Radhika is highly impressed with her character in the movie. Ramaleela, which is directed by newcomer Arun Gopi depicts the deep attachment between a mother and son, in the backdrop of politics.

It is the fifth Malayalam outing of Radhika Sarathkumar, who entered the industry with the 1983-movie Justice Raja. She later made a mark in Mollywood with her roles in Koodum Thedi and Arthana.

Ramaleela is scripted by the popular scriptwriter turned director, Sachy. Young actress Prayaga Martin will essay the female lead opposite Dileep in the movie, which recently started rolling in Kochi.

Mukesh, Salim Kumar, and Renji Panicker essay the other pivotal roles in the movie. Ramaleela, which is produced by Tomichan Mulakupadam for Mulakupadam Films, is slated to be released for Vishu 2017.
