Take Off, the Mahesh Narayanan movie, which stars Parvathy, Kunchacko Boban, and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles is receiving extremely positive reviews from all over. Take Off is also performing decently at the box office.

As per the reports from the trade analysts, the acclaimed movie has made a total gross collection of 6.7 Crores from the Kerala box office, within the first 7 days (one week) of its release.

It is quite a good opening for Take Off, which was made with a budget of 5 Crores. But, the next week is crucial for Take Off, as Malayalam industry is all set to witness some time big-time releases for Vishu.

Take Off, which marked the directorial debut of editor Mahesh Narayanan, narrates the story of Malayali nurses who were trapped in Tikrit, Iraq, during the ISIS attack happened in 2014. Parvathy appeared in the role of Sameera, a Malayali nurse.

Fahadh Faasil essayed Manoj Abraham, an officer of Indian embassy who heads the rescue mission. Kunchacko Boban played the role of Shaheed, Sameera's husband who is also a nurse by profession.

Take Off, which has been considered as a landmark movie of Mollywood, is scripted by Mahesh Narayanan and PV Shajikumar. The movie, which was made as a tribute to late director Rajesh Pillai, is jointly produced by Rajesh Pillai Films and Anto Joseph Film Company.
