starrer

has
crossed
the
prestigious

mark
at
the
Kochi
multiplex
box
office,
thus
establishing
its
supremacy
among
the
contemporary
Malayalam
releases.
The
movie
crossed
1-Crore
mark,
within
the
first
16
days
of
its
release.
As
per
the
latest
updates,
Take
Off
still
continues
to
rule
the
releasing
centres
with
a
high
occupancy
rate.
The
Mahesh
Narayanan
movie
had
collected
6.7
Crores
from
the
Kerala
box
office,
within
the
first
7
days
of
its
theatrical
run.
It
is
undoubtedly
a
good
collection
for
Take
Off,
which
was
made
with
of
budget
of
around
5
Crores.
The
movie
succeeded
in
continuing
its
upper
hand
at
the
box
office,
despite
the
releases
of
the
star-studded
films,
The
Great
Father
and
1971
Beyond
Borders.
Mahesh
Narayanan,
the
senior
editor
made
his
directorial
debut
with
Take
Off.
The
movie,
which
stars
Parvathy
as
the
central
character
Sameera,
narrates
the
story
of
Malayali
nurses
who
were
trapped
in
Tikrit,
Iraq,
during
the
ISIS
attack
happened
in
2014.
Kunchacko
Boban
played
a
male
nurse
in
the
movie,
while
Fahadh
Faasil
appeared
as
an
Indian
embassy
officer.
