Mammootty starrer The Great Father is continuing its magnificent run at the theatres. The film, which hit the theatres on March 30, 2017 has also set some big box office records.

The film is doing an equally strong business in most of the major centres in Kerala. According to a latest report by Forum Keralam, the film has crossed the 1-Crore mark at the Kochi multiplexes.

Interestingly, the film just took 15 days to cross the 1-Crore mark at the Kochi multiplexes. The occupancy rate for the movie is good even on the weekdays.

The Great Father is the second movie of Mammootty, to have crossed the 1-Crore mark at the Kochi multiplexes. Earlier, Mammootty's Bhaskar The Rascal, directed by Siddique also made it to the 1-Crore club at the Kochi multiplexes.

Going at this rate, The Great Father has all the chances of becoming Mammootty's highest grosser at the Kochi multiplexes. The big vacation season ahead will do a lot good for the movie.

Meanwhile, The Great Father has released in UAE/GCC centres. The film is expected to make it big at the UAE box office also.
