Mammootty's
The
Great
Father
is
the
talk
of
the
M'town
and
why
not,
the
film
has
made
a
bumper
opening
at
the
box
office
fetching
4.31
Crores
and
thus
eclipsing
all
the
previous
first
day
collection
records.
The
Great
Father,
directed
by
debutant
Haneef
Adeni
and
featuring
Mammootty,
Sneha,
Arya,
Baby
Anikha
in
the
lead
roles
has
had
a
promising
start
at
the
Kochi
multiplexes,
as
well.
The
advance
booking
for
the
film
was
extremely
good
for
this
Mammootty
starrer.
As
many
as
46
shows
of
The
Great
Father
was
played
on
Day
1
in
total,
at
various
multiplexes
in
Kochi.
According
to
a
report
by
Forumkeralam,
The
Great
Father
managed
to
fetch
13.89
Lakhs
on
Day
1
itself,
from
Kochi
multiplexes.
Reportedly,
the
occupancy
rate
of
the
film
was
96%,
which
is
quite
impressive,
considering
the
fact
that
it
was
a
Thursday.
Interestingly,
late
night
shows
were
also
added,
due
to
the
heavy
rush.
In
fact,
with
such
a
good
opening,
The
Great
Father
has
registered
Mammootty's
best
opening
at
the
Kochi
multiplxes.
The
film
is
expected
to
have
a
good
weekend
ahead
in
Kochi.
Apart
from
the
multiplexes,
The
Great
Father
is
also
being
screened
at
various
other

in
Kochi.
