Veeram is the historical epic drama, which stars popular Bollywood actress Kunal Kapoor in the central role. The movie, which is written and directed by Jayaraj, is the fifth instalment of the director's Navarathna series of films.
Interestingly, Veeram is partially inspired based William Shakespeare's play Macbeth and Vadakkan Pattukal of Kerala. The movie, which is a Malayalam-Hindi-English trilingual, is produced by the banner Chandrakala Arts.
