The role of Rajesh has two dimensions. One is that a troublemaker college student, and in the latter part of the story character goes on to become an IT professional who falls for a girl. Well, Dulquer Salmaan is the apt choice for this role originally portrayed by Madhavan in the original. He can bring in both the charming as well as the rugged nature of the character with full effect.
Madonna Sebastian As Reena Joseph
Madonna Sebastian is the apt choice for the role of Reena Joseph, portrayed by Reema Sen in the original. Reena Joseph is a matured and rather serious girl, who is an introvert when it comes to her feelings. Madonna Sebastian is sure to make this role perfect and the pair of Dulquer Salmaan and Madonna would definitely look great on-screen.
Unni Mukundan As Rajiv Samuel
Coming to the other important role of the movie, Rajiv Samuel who was once the rival of Rajesh during their college days. Rajiv is a studious, well-mannered guy and the role was portrayed by Abbas in the original. Unni Mukundan will fit in perfectly to this role and the face-off between Dulquer Salmaan and Unni Mukundan would be a definite treat to watch.
Aju Varghese As Rajesh's Friend
Vivek played a pivotal role in the film, that of Rajesh's close friend Chokkalingam. If a remake ever happens in Malayalam, we feel that Aju Varghese would be the perfect choice for this role. Moreover, we haven't seen the combo of Dulquer Salmaan and Aju Varghese much in the films.
