Among the young generation of actors, it is Prithviraj who can bring in that voice modulation to full-effect. More importantly, in the emotional sequences, the actor is sure to score high.
Anusree As Aleena (Asha Jayaram)
In fact, the film deals with the story of Aleena and her child. Asha Jayaram portrayed the character in the original version. If remade now, we feel that Anusree will be the apt choice for this character. She can do justice to this role, which requires a controlled and matured performance.
Akshara Kishore As Deepamol (Geethu Mohandas)
The character of Deepamol was portrayed by Geethu Mohandas and the movie did mark her debut as a child artist. Depamol is one of the most loved child characters that Malayalam cinema has produced. At present, Akshar Kishore is the best option for this role and she is sure to bring in that cuteness and innocence required for that character.
Asif Ali As Josekutty (Prathap Pothen)
Josekutty, the husband of Aleena, has got very less screen space, but holds due importance in the story. Well, we feel that Asif Ali would fit in perfectly for this special appearance, which was done by Prathap Pothen in the original version.
Siddique As Dr K K Menon (Nedumudi Venu)
Well, we feel that Siddique is the best available option for this role, if the film is remade. This particular role is a tailor made one for the actor and he is sure to put up a brilliant performance.
Onnu Muthal Poojyam Vare, was widely acclaimed by the critics and the movie win 6 Kerala State Awards. Raghunath Paleri won the Best debut director award whereas Geethu Mohandas was adjudged the best child artist.
