Aashiq Abu Announces His Next Movie & It Is A Star-studded Affair!

Aashiq Abu, the much loved film-maker of Malayalam cinema, has come up with a big announcement regarding his next directorial venture and the project indeed looks like a promising venture. The film will be a star-studded affair with some of the top actors in the industry lining up and it has even been revealed that the movie will be based on some of the true stories.

The upcoming film of Aashiq Abu has been titled as Virus and the sample poster of the movie was sent out through the official Facebook page of the movie. This upcoming movie features actors like Revathy, Asif Ali, Tovino Thomas, Parvathy, Rima Kallingal, Kalidas Jayaram, Remya Nambeeshan, Soubin Shahir, Dileesh Pothen, Chemban Vinod Jose, etc., in important roles.

Virus will be produced by OPM and the movie will have its script jointly penned by Muhsin Parari, Suhas and Sharfu. Rajeev Ravi has been roped in as the cinematographer of the movie, whereas Sushin Shyam will take care of the music department.

Going by the poster, it seems like the movie will be based on the Nipah outbreak, which hit the state of Kerala in the mid of 2018. It has been mentioned that the film be coming out by next summer.

Meanwhile, Aashiq Abu's previous directorial venture was Mayaanadhi, which hit the theatres in December 2017. The movie enjoyed a big success at the box office and bagged the tag of being one of the best movies of the year.
