Tomorrow is indeed a special day for all the fans of Mohanlal and director Ranjith, as the much loved actor-director combo is back with the film Drama, which is all set to open in the theatres on November 1, 2018. Much like any Mohanlal-Ranjith movie, the expectations on Drama are on the higher end and the film is in fact expected to be something different from the movies that they have done so far. Loham was their previous film together and the movie had released amidst huge expectations. Rock N Roll (2007)
Rock N Roll, which hit the theatres back in the year 2007, was one such film from the combo, which didn't fetch much positive reviews upon its release. The film, which was in the lines of a love story and it featured Mohanlal in the role of a percussionist named Chandramouli. However, the film has its own set of lovers and followers, which it gained upon television screenings.

The film narrated a soulful romantic tale, which was fresh and new. The down-to-earth character of Chirakkal Srihari, portrayed by Mohanlal, has a huge fan following even now. Ravanaprabhu, which marked the directorial debut of Ranjith, is one among the much celebrated movies of the actor-director combo. The film, which brought back the character Mangalassery Neelakandan from Ravanaprabhu, was a perfect mass entertainer with adequate family elements present in it.
