Bigg Boss Malayalam Episode 57: Another Week Without An Elimination!
The eighth week of Bigg Boss Malayalam has come to an end and here is a look at what happened on the last day of week 8. Read on to know more about the same.
Bigg Boss Malayalam is all set to step into the ninth week, and the previous week was an eventful one. This time too, the elimination list had featured 5 contestants and the house had resorted to the old nomination procedure from the confession room. At the same time, a neck-head competition was expected in the elimination round and the audiences were awaiting for the results. Anoop – The New Captain
Anoop Chandran was elected as the new captain of the house after an interesting task that also involved Archana Suseelan and Aditi Rai. In the previous episode, each of the contestants were asked about their opinion on Anoop becoming the captain.
Anoop Chandran's Opinion
Meanwhile, Mohanlal also asked the new captain Anoop Chandran about the new changes that he would like to bring in to the house. He came forward with a few suggestions, which according to him were taken by discussing with the members of the house.
Other Events
Interestingly, Anoop Chandran, the new captain, got a grand welcome and he got a reception similar to that of the kings, with a special ceremony being carried out. Later, the issues surrounding Pearle Maaney and Aristo Suresh and other contestants were also sorted out.
The Elimination Procedure
After this, Mohanlal talked about the elimination procedure. The five contestants Sreenish, Ranjini Haridas, Pearle Maaney, Aristo Suresh and Archana Suseelan stood up.
No Eliminations
Mohanlal informed that in the past week many people in Kerala couldn't watch the show because of the Kerala floods and it had affected the voting as well. Along with that, he also added that the Bigg Boss team feels that this episode was a good one with some of the issues getting sorted out. Considering all these, Bigg Boss decided that there won't be any elimination in the eighth week.
At the same time, Mohanlal also informed that the same set of contestants will move on to the elimination procedure of the next week as well.
