The eviction episode of Week 9 of Bigg Boss Malayalam season 1 was hugely awaited by the audiences. As you all know, the last two weeks didn't witness any elimination. At the same time, the previous week's eviction process was postponed to this week by carrying forward the same eviction list. The list consisted of 5 members namely Pearle Maaney, Aristo Suresh, Ranjini Haridas, Sreenish Aravind and Archana Suseelan. It would have been indeed a tight contest with the eviction list featuring some of the strongest contestants of the house. Read on to know more about who got evicted on Week 9.

Two Different Teams
Before the routine eviction procedure, the team members were handed over a task, in which they were asked to divide themselves into two teams. The first team lead by Ranjini Haridas consisted of herself, Archana, Sabu, Suresh and Anoop Chandran. The other team, lead by Sreenish, consisted of himself, Shiyas, Pearle, Aditi and Hima Shankar
Who Won The Task?
The task involved the team members to untie the knots in a long rope and it was Ranjini Haridas's team that won the big task. Interestingly, the winning team unlocked a box and they got 5 major powers, which they could use for the next week.
The Eviction Procedure
Later, the time had come for the eviction procedure. The 5 members in the elimination list stood up and Mohanlal, the host of the show, asked them to be ready by packing the bags.
The Winning Combo
Before announcing the person who was to be evicted on Week 9, Mohanlal asked the members about some interesting combos and friendships in the Bigg Boss house. Later, on the big screen, the winning combo of Sabu and Ranjini Haridas was shown. They turned good friends upon entering the house and they had won a lot of tough tasks. After the slideshow, Mohanlal asked Sabu to tell his best friend, Ranjini Haridas, to take her bags and come outside. Thus, announcing that Ranjini Haridas is the contestant to be eliminated.
A Brave Goodbye
Ranjini Haridas, the brave contestant, accepted the final result with the right spirit and while bidding a goodbye to the other contestants, she conveyed that this is just a game and it should be taken in that form. The contestants gave her a befitting farewell.
Ranjini Haridas's Happiness
After coming on stage, Ranjini Haridas expressed her happiness on being a part of the unique social experiment like Bigg Boss. Finally, Mohanlal also asked her to describe in one word about the remaining contestants of the house.
