Dulquer Salmaan had informed that he was not in Kerala during the time of floods but still, the actor had made some valuable contributions by coming out on social media and spreading the important messages through his highly popular pages, which definitely helped some of the information to reach the right destination. Apart from that, he had also donated a good amount to the CMDRF.
The state is recuperating from the side effects caused by the floods and the unity with which the Keralites have worked has inspired one and all. Dulquer Salmaan, on this special day of Eid, has come up with an important message, which is a must read. The actor has words of appreciation for the undying spirit and the physical effort of people from various strata, since the past few days. He has also written about the contributions of the people who are outside the state. Dulquer Salmaan picked one amazing point, which we must all note and that is unity that the people have had in Kerala.
The message sent out by Dulquer Salmaan read as, "On this day of Eid,
To all my lovely and wonderful brothers and sisters not just from the Malayalam Film Industry but also from all walks of life be it the Army, Navy, Doctors, Nurses, Fishermen, Truck Drivers, Labourers, Relief Workers, NGOs, Students, Youngsters, Senior Citizens, and most of all who we in India refer to as the Common Man, Hats off to your undying spirit and tireless physical effort over the past so many days to save and rescue the state. Many of us who are out of state including yours truly, or our diaspora in the Middle East, US, Europe & other parts of the world are equally concerned and are helping in terms of sending funds, fund raising or rallying supplies. So kindly don't disregard them either. No one person can save the state. But every single one of us coming together can! The biggest and most amazing thing that's come out of such loss and pain is the realisation that we are united without differences. No religion, caste or social lines were seen in this time. The most beautiful thing about the most beautiful state of Kerala is that we are one people. And we have one Cause ! Us !" - (sic)
