Overtakes Varathan
Kayamkulam Kochunni has overtaken the Fahadh Faasil starrer Varathan to earn this feat. Earlier, Varathan had went on to fetch as much as 1.43 Crores from the 32 days of its run at the Kochi multiplexes. The film is still running at the Kochi multiplexes.

Meanwhile, Kayamkulam Kochunni is expected to do a decent and steady business during the upcoming weekdays as well. The film is expected to cross the 1.5 Crore mark soon.
