It
is
indeed
a
tough
time
for
Kerala,
with
the
heavy
rains
and
floods
affecting
many
parts
of
the
state.
Many
regions
in
the
Ernakulam
district,
including
Aluva
and
North
Paravur
regions,
have
been
heavily
affected
and
the
rescue
operations
are
going
on
at
full
swing.
Earlier,
reports
had
surfaced
that
popular
actor
Salim
Kumar
had
been
left
stranded
inside
his
house
and
was
seeking
for
help.
The
actor,
who
resides
in
the
North
Paravur
region,
had
informed
about
the
same
to
media.
While
talking
to
manorama
news.com
over
phone
yesterday
(Agust
17,
2018),
he
informed
that
he
along
with
over
30
people
have
been
stranded
inside
the
house.
Salim
Kumar
mentioned
that
he
and
his
family
were
planning
to
move
out
of
the
house
on
Thursday
evening
itself
when
the
area
was
getting
flooded.
Later,
a
good
number
of
people
had
approached
his
house
seeking
help
and
hence
he
decided
to
give
them
shelter
and
stayed
with
them.
The
actor
also
informed
that
the
house
has
been
submerged
in
water
till
the
first
floor
and
hence,
they've
moved
to
the
second
floor.
He
also
added
that
the
water
level
was
rising
at
that
moment
of
time
and
if
it
entered
the
second
floor,
they
will
have
to
move
to
the
terrace
but
it
wouldn't
be
feasible
for
the
old-aged
people
to
climb
up
to
the
terrace.
