Madura Raja: The Title Of Pokkiri Raja Sequel Revealed!

It was officially announced that Mammootty and director Vysakh will be teaming up for the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster movie Pokkiri Raja. This project was tentatively titled as Raja 2 and it went on to find a place in the list of much awaited Malayalam movies, right with its announcement. The audiences were eagerly waiting for updates regarding this upcoming Mammootty starrer and now, the team has launched the title of the movie.

The sequel to Pokkiri Raja has been titled as Madura Raja and the first title poster of the movie has been launched. Mammootty took to his official Facebook page to launch the title poster of the movie. The poster has revealed the major crew members of the movie and poster has a caption read as Raja Returns.

It has been officially confirmed that action choreographer Peter Hein will be a part of the project. It is his second project with director Vysakh after the blockbuster movie Pulimurugan. Udaykrishna has penned the script for the movie. Shaji Kumar will handle the cinematography of the film whereas Gopi Sunder will head the music department.

Meanwhile, the makers of the film are yet to make an official announcement regarding the rest of the cast of the movie. It has been revealed that the shoot of the film will commence on August 9, 2018 and the makers are planning to release the film as a Vishu release of 2019.
