Veteran actor Captain Raju has passed away and the top celebrities of the industry have condoled the death of Captain Raju.
Malayalam cinema has lost yet another gem of an actor with the demise of Captain Raju. The actor was undoubtedly one among the most talented character actors of Malayalam cinema. His screen presence was immaculate and he would definitely find a place in the list of most powerful actors that the industry has had. Mammootty was one of the first celebrities to arrive at the hospital upon hearing the news of Captain Raju's death. Mammootty and Captain Raju have worked together in a good number of movies. In many of the Mammootty starrers, Captain Raju had played the main antagonist to perfection.

Much like Mammootty, Mohanlal too has worked with Captain Raju in a good number of movies. In his Facebook note, he has mentioned that the sound of Captain Raju saying to him, "Lalu..Its me Rajuchayan" is still reverberating in his ears.
