Mammootty's Madura Raja: Here Is The Star Cast Of The Movie!

It was on Sunday that the official title of Mammootty's upcoming film with director Vysakh was revealed. Titled as Madura Raja, this much-awaited entertainer will bring back the character Raja, from the blockbuster movie Pokkiri Raja, which had hit the theatres in the year 2010.

Now, certain updates have come up regarding the rest of the star cast of this Mammootty starrer. The audiences were eager to know whether Prithviraj, who had played Mammootty's brother in the original, will be a part of the movie or not. According to a report by Times Of India, writer Udaykrishna has confirmed that Prithviraj is not a part of Madura Raja. He has also mentioned that the film won't be a continuation of Pokkiri Raja.

Madura Raja will feature three leading ladies in it. Reportedly, Udaykrishna has mentioned that popular actresses Anusree, Mahima Nambiar and Shamna Kasim will be a part of the movie.

The writer has also mentioned that popular Tamil actor Jai will also be seen playing an important role in the movie. Madura Raja will be Jai's debut movie in Mollywood. Other actors from the original like Vijayaraghavan, Salim Kumar, Nedumudi Venu, etc., are also a part of the star cast of Madura Raja.

The shoot of the film is expected to commence on August 9, 2018. The makers are planning to make the film as a Vishu release for the year 2019.
