Manju Warrier Sings A Song Along With The Legend KS Chithra!

Manju Warrier is one of the finest acting talents of the Indian cinema; and with some spectacular performances which continue to come in, she has reiterated that fact. Similarly, there wouldn't be two opinions about the fact that Kerala's own KS Chithra is one of the best singers that the country has ever seen. The umpteen number of awards that she has fetched is further a proof of the same.

Interestingly, Manju Warrier and KS Chithra had come together on stage at a recent award function. Both of them attended the Mazhavil Manorama Mango Music Awards 2018 event, which was held at Aroor, on August 7, 2018.

It was during the event that they happened to sing together and a promo video of the same has been send out through the official Facebook page of Mazhavil Manorama. In the video, you can see Manju Warrier and KS Chithra sharing the stage and they can be heard singing the song Aayiram Kannumaayi, the song from the film Nokkathadhoorathu Kannum Nattu, which had released in the year 1986. The song Aayiram Kannumaayi, set to tune by Jerry Amaldev, was originally sung by KS Chithra herself. The song also had another version that was sung by KJ Yesudas. Aayirum Kannumaayi is an all-time favourite of the Malayalam audiences and is considered as a true classic.
