Mohanlal has an impressive lineup of movies consisting of big-budget ventures that are capable of taking Malayalam cinema and the film industry to an entirely new level. Movies in the big list are in the various stages of production and pre-production works and the audiences are eagerly waiting for these Mohanlal starrers to take over the screens across the state as well as rule the box office. Now, much to the happiness of all the Mohanlal fans, the release details of the upcoming big-budget movies have surfaced. According to a recent report by Manorama Online, Antony Perumbavoor, the producer of Lucifer, Odiyan and Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham etc., has come up with an official confirmation regarding the same.
Odiyan
Odiyan, the much-awaited venture of Mohanlal, was initially slated for a release on October 11, 2018. But, with the floods hitting the state of Kerala, the release dates of many movies, including Odiyan, have been pushed ahead. Reportedly, the makers of the film have now decided to release the film on December 14, 2018.
Lucifer
The shoot of Lucifer is presently progressing in September. According to the reports, the shoot of the film will be wrapped up by the end of the year. The much-awaited movie will be hitting the theatres next year and reportedly, it will release on March 28, 2018.
Marakkar – Arabikadalinte Simham
The shoot of Marakkar - Arabikadalinte Simham is yet to begin and this upcoming Mohanlal starrer, which will be helmed by popular film-maker Priyadarshan, is being planned as an Onam release of the year 2019. Reportedly, the shooting of the film will commence on November 1, 2018.
The Big Budget Ventures
According to the report, Odiyan's budget is somewhere close to 50 Crores. The report also suggests that Lucifer is being made with a budget of 60 Crores. At the same time, Marakkar - Arabikadalinte Simham will be made with a budget of 100 Crores.
