Drama, the film that brings back the golden combo of Mohanlal and Ranjith, is rightly one among the much anticipated ventures of the year. As you all know, there has been a total change in the schedule of the Malayalam movie releases due to the massive floods, which had hit the various parts of the state. The big releases are set to rule the theatres from this week onwards and the wait for other big movies like the Mohanlal starrer Drama is on. Initially, reports had surfaced that the makers of the film were planning to release the movie in the second week of September. But, the film's release got pushed ahead due to the massive floods. Later, reports came in that Drama might release by the end of September.
The New Release Date
Now, according to a latest report by Manorama Online, the makers of the film have finalised on the new release date of the movie. According to the report, the film will grace the screens on November 1, 2018, which is a Thursday. More importantly, November 1 is the Kerala Piravi day.
Mohanlal's Next Release?
Meanwhile, it seems like Mohanlal will have another release before Drama. If reports are to be believed, Kayamkulam Kochunni, the upcoming big budget venture in which Mohanlal will be seen doing a crucial and special role, is expected to come out in the theatres in the month of September.
Trailer Release
Initially, upon the well-accepted teaser of the movie, the makers of Drama had planned to come up with the trailer of the movie. It was scheduled to grace the online circuits on August 15, 2018. But, the team decided to postpone its release, owing to the dire situation created by the floods in various parts of the state. Official announcement regarding the release of the trailer is being awaited.
