The talks surrounding the Mohanlal starrer Odiyan have already taken over the social media and the much-awaited film is more than a month away from its big release. The promotions for the film have already begun with the life-size statues of Odiyan conquering the theatres across the state.

Mohanlal's Odiyan will be making its big entry to the theatres on December 14, 2018. The movie is expected to make a record release in the theatres across the state and such is the huge hype that the film holds.

Now, certain reports have been doing the rounds, which indicate that Odiyan's release itself will be a big phenomena. According to a recent report that surfaced in SouthLive, the latest information suggests that Odiyan will be releasing in above 90% of the theatres in the state of Kerala. Reports also suggest that the movie will be releasing in close to 500 screens in Kerala.

Well, if that happens, it would indeed be a historical achievement for the movie, as never has the industry ever seen a film taking over the entire attention. The biggest release in Kerala so far remains to be Kayamkulam Kochunni, which had released a few weeks ago. The film, which released on October 11, 2018, had released in above 350 screens across the state.
