Oru Kuttanadan Blog Box Office: The Opening-day Collection Status Is Here!

Oru Kuttanadan Blog was one among the two major releases that made its entry to the theatres across the state yesterday (September 14, 2018). The Mammootty starrer, which also is the debut directorial venture of scenarist Sethu narrates a tale set against the backdrop of a village named Krishnapuram. Oru Kuttanadan Blog has been tagged as a family entertainer, and the movie did make a big release in the theatres across the state in close to 250 screens. Going by the various reports on social media, the film had registered a decent opening in many of the centres.

At the Kochi multiplexes, which is one among the prominent centres in Kerala, Oru Kuttanadan Blog had 18 shows on its opening day. According to a report by Forum Keralam, Oru Kuttanadan Blog has fetched approximately 3.49 Lakhs at an occupancy rate of 55%. Going by the report, the occupancy rates for the evening shows were on the higher side.

Well, it is a fact that the opening-day collections of Oru Kuttanadan Blog at the Kochi multiplexes are lesser in comparison to Mammootty's previous release Abrahaminte Santhathikal. However, Oru Kuttanadan Blog has been tagged as a family movie and the collections are expected to increase on Saturday and Sunday, when the family audiences will be pouring into the theatres.

Apart from Mammootty, Oru Kuttanadan Blog also features actors like Sanju Sivaram, Raai Laxmi, Anu Sithara, Shamna Kasim, Jacon Gregory, Nedumudi Venu, Lalu Alex, etc., in important roles.
