Bigg Boss Malayalam is in its tenth week and the ninth week had ended with some big revelations in front of the audiences as well as the inmates of the house. During the weekend episodes, Pearle Maaney and Srinish Aravind, two of the prominent contestants of the Bigg Boss Malayalam house, confessed that they are in love with each other and would like to get married. At the same time, it was decided within the house that the matter shall be taken forward and discussed with their parents.

Meanwhile, the audiences have been eager to know what the two families have to say about the relationship. Maaney Paul, father of Pearle Maaney spoke to Times Of India regarding the same. "As a father I still see Pearle as a little baby in my hands. Pearle is not naive and knows how to judge a boy. So I can't believe that she decided to marry a guy whom she knew only for 10 or 20 days. This decision of hers has disturbed our family, not because Srinish is a bad but because it seems like a hasty, emotional decision. Marriage, prayer and love are all personal things which are not marketable. I won't blame anyone but I am not able to understand why a mature girl like Pearle said such a thing. Pearle will make such a personal decision only after talking to me, her mother and her siblings I am not just her father but one of her best friends as well.I don't know if she is playing a game or not," he was quoted as saying to Times Of India.
