Prithviraj's much awaited film Ranam will be making a big release in the theatres tomorrow (September 06, 2018). Ranam is Prithviraj's third major release of the year and the film ranks high on expectations. Much like his previous ventures, Ranam too is expected to have some unique specialities associated with it, and the trailer of the movie had hinted the same.
Well, the films of Prithviraj in the recent past belonged to different genres and he made it a point to bring in differences in each of his films. Before the big arrival of Ranam, here we take you through Prithviraj's previous 5 releases.
Koode, directed by Anjali Menon, was Prithviraj's previous release and the movie is still continuing its run in the theatres. The film, which was indeed a perfectly woven tale of relationships, turned out to be a big success at the box office. The movie would definitely rank among one of the best movies of recent times and it portrayed the brother-sister relationship in a manner which touched the hearts of one and all.
My Story was the actor's first release of the year and the movie was touted to be a love story. Starring Prithviraj and Parvathy in the lead roles, the film directed by Roshni Dinaker had some fantastic performances from its lead actors, but the film couldn't make much of an impact at the box office.
Vimaanam had hit the theatres during the Christmas season of 2017. The movie was as much an inspiring tale as it was a love story. In fact, the movie had its own share of good moments, even though the pace was on the slower side. Once again, Prithviraj impressed the audiences with his performance as Venkidi, a person who dreams of making an aeroplane of his own.
Adam Joan, which released during the Onam season of 2017, went on to find a place in the list of hits of that year. The movie, which was in the lines of an emotional family thriller, had won the praises of the critics and audiences. The picturisation of the film was much praised and so was the performance of Prithviraj.
