Theevandi enjoyed a fine opening day with the film collecting around 5.64 Lakhs from the Kochi multiplexes. Reportedly, Theevandi had 20 shows on the opening day and the movie registered an occupancy rate of approximately 89%.

With positive reports pouring in for the movie, Theevandi enjoyed a strong run on the second day. There was an increase in the number of shows on the second day. According to a report by Forum Keralam, Theevandi fetched 7.84 Lakhs from 22 shows at an occupancy rate of 99%.
Sunday
The first Sunday was even more a splendid one for Theevandi, as it reportedly registered the highest collection among all the three days. There was a further increase in the number of shows for the movie. The Tovino Thomas starrer fetched 8.52 Lakhs from 24 shows at an occupancy rate of 99.6%. In total, Theevandi has fetched 22.01 Lakhs on its opening weekend at the Kochi multiplexes.
