Two Popular Malayalam Movies Selected To Compete At The Upcoming IFFK!
Two highly acclaimed Malayalam movies have been selected to compete at the upcoming IFFK, which will commence in the month of December.
IFFK, the International Film Festival Of Kerala, is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious film festivals of the country where quality movies from around the globe compete for the top honours. The 23rd edition of the IFFK will be held in the month of December this year. The week-long film festival will commence on December 7, 2018, and will end on December 13, 2018. Meanwhile, there is some good news for all the Malayalam movie lovers, as two popular Malayalam movies have made it to the competing section at the IFFK 2018. Sudani From Nigeria
Sudani From Nigeria, the highly acclaimed Malayalam movie that went on to win the hearts of the audiences, is one among the Malayalam movies that will compete at the IFFK 2018. The film directed by debut film-maker Zakariya narrated a tale of compassion, humanity and friendship.

Ee Ma Yau
Ee Ma Yau, the film that won Lijo Jose Pellissery the award for the Best Director at the Kerala State Film Awards, is another Malayalam movie that will compete at the much renowned festival. This realistic tale had won wide critical acclaim upon its release and had garnered the interest of the audiences as well.

Malayalam Cinema Innu
Meanwhile, as many as 12 Malayalam movies will be screened in the special section, which has been titled as Malayalam Cinema Innu. The movies which have been selected are Othu, Parava, Bhayanakam, Mayaanadhi, Bilathikuzhal, Prathizhasam, Eeda, Kottayam, Humans Of Someone, Sleeplessly Yours, Ave Maria, etc.

Debut Film-makers Shine
Meanwhile, it has also been mentioned in the press release that out of the 14 films selected for the festival, 10 of them have been directed by debut film-makers. Well, it is indeed a pleasant sight to see new film-makers proving their talent with their work.
